3位作品：Re:Flow

Modern cities have been transformed by the concentration of economic, human, and resource flows, and by the “tourist-ization” of local production and landscapes for consumption. We propose a countermeasure to this trend from the perspective of “circulation” generated by local primary and secondary industries and architecture.
The traditional “pizé” architecture of Nord-Isère, a building technique using local land and straw, demonstrates harmony with the environment by utilizing local materials and production. We believe that this type of architecture that incorporates local resources will create new value that differs from mere tourist attraction.
In this proposal, we seek a mechanism for circulation within the region, rather than a one way flow as in the conventional tourist destination. We aim to create a “sustainable flow” for the next generation by building an interactive relationship where production and landscape resonate with each other.

「フローの再生」をテーマに、地域の一次・二次産業と建築による循環に加え、風・人・地・緑のフローを提案。ヴィルフォンテーヌでは学生と住民が小麦や家畜を育て廃棄物と腐葉土からピセブロックを生産、シミランではサテライトキャンパスとして建材生産と建物改修を実践、その経験をキャンパスへフィードバックする循環を提案した。
ヴィルフォンテーヌの建築は軒が連続した大屋根が印象的で、農地やビオトープと調和した気持ちの良い空間を表現している。シミランの改修では屋根・内壁・窓・外構を中心に手を加えることで建物の内外を効果的につなぎつつ建物の性能向上を図っている。太陽光・風・雨水・バイオマス素材を活用して環境負荷を減らしつつ、農・食・建材生産・建築体験を行う共同体の生活は魅力的に感じられた。
シミランの北側の壁は施工検証用だが工事現場のようなやや閉鎖的な印象を持たれた。むしろ地域に開かれた用途（農・食の提案など）としても良かったかもしれない。
ＬＣＡ計算・サンゴバン製品提案は良かったが、エネルギー計算未実施なのは減点要素。基礎を布基礎とすることでコンクリートを削減したのは有効。更に上部構造（鉄骨→木造）や木製サッシ・オーガニック断熱材など説明を加えると良かった。
提案の完成度と質を高めれば、逆転できたかもと思われた。
